Aiden's First day of preschool

Our little boy is growing up although he had a few months of preschool prior to the start of the school year. He was ready to go back. Daddy dropped him off this morning to meet his new teachers and he was sad that he Ms. Sarah and Ms. Jamie was not his teachers again but i kept telling him he will get new ones I guess he didn't quite understand. He was a bit gloomy until one of his new teachers came over and gave him his name tag with a picture of Red on it from the cars movie. He was all excited and then left dad's lap gave him a big hug and a kiss and went off to play. I picked him up during my lunch break. He was in such a good mood and had to tell me in his loud voice while leaving the class room that he got two new teachers. ( he must have liked them) He made a fruit loop necklace and said his teachers told him he couldn't eat it until he got home. He said there were a lot of girls in his class and i asked him if they were cute and in a soft embarrassing voice he said yess. It was cute. I could tell that he had a good day. He was really happy.

Discovery Day

Today I took the boys to the Discovery Gateway ( aka childrens museum). Well actually it wasn't planned I had to go do an errand uptown and then Aiden randomly said " mom I want to go to that one place with a helicopter and a bridge" at first i was like, huh?? and then i realized what he was talking about. Which is funny because the bridge is just a little pathway in the gateway mall to get to the museum I can't believed he remembered that. He remembers the most random things. For example i was folding a shirt of micah's and he said dad wore that and got wet in it. Micah wore that same shirt when we went boating.
Anyways we went to the museum and the boys loved it. This time Mason is a few months older than the last time and what a difference it makes. He could do a lot more things on his own this time. It was really nice i could just sit and watch the both of them just play. He is only 15 months old but what a smart little guy. They had so much fun. But then they got hungry and we didn't make it to the helicopter. Oh well we went to the splash pad at gateway and Aiden ran through it and his pants fell off. It was cute he looked back and smiled and then yelled "MOM" come pull up my pants. Then we came home and slept for three hours it was nice especially for me.
Mason learned how to say "BYE BYE" for the first time. We went to the grocery store and when we walked out he was waving to the passing cars saying bye bye.

Braggin Parents

I just have to write about my kids....they are the funniest boys ever they always make me laugh.

Aiden is growing up way too fast I can't believe he is 3 1/2. The thing that kid says and does.
I have to say he is growing up such a little man...he is sooo good, so polite and caring. He always says his please ( well most of the time). One of thing he does is get daddy and mommy in trouble everytime we say a bad word...and those bad words are (shutup, stupid, hate, dumb, gravy and any other word he doesnt recognize) but everytime we are in a conversation he always buts in and says " we can't say that" and he does this at least 10 times a day. A little annoying but oh well he is learning right from wrong right now. He is so funny his favorite things to do is ride his mustang, his bike and play in the dirt and friends.

Trip to the doctors office

What a morning.....It was a laugh then a kirplunk then a flat out scream and cry from both boys, but actually one of them was hurt just the other one was horrified of what happened. Mason was running and ran into the corner of the air vents in the wall and blood was gushing everywhere it was pretty horrifying as a mother. I grabbed him and immediately put him in the sink. Micah got him all cleaned off while I was trying to calm Aiden down. Poor little guys. When he was all cleaned up there was a little dent in his forehead. I took him to the doctors and they decided just to glue stitch it since it wasn't that deep and stitches would leave a bigger scar than it already will. While we were at the doctors office. Aiden said "Mommy I hope Mason will be okay? it was so cute and sweet. He really loves his little brother. He always cries more than Mason does when mason gets hurt. That whole day Aiden was really careful with Mason going really slow on his mustang so mason won't bonk his head. We will definitely be Masons protector when they get older.

Four Wheeler trip

It was the annual four wheeler trip in and around magleby mountain. I decided i wanted to go this year since i haven't been since Aiden was born. I was planning on having my mom watch him but then plans didn't go as well. So I decided to rough it out and take him on the four wheeler trip. We took Toms RV which was really fun, Cory and Abram joined us on the trip. Aiden was in heaven that Abram could come. Friday morning we met our group the Lot family and headed up the trails. I put Mason in a carrier on my back and Aiden and Dad drove together. Immediately Mason fell asleep. He loves rides thats how I put him to sleep at home is by driving him around the neighbor hood. I was pretty surprised - but he did better than i thought He cried for a little while until we figured out the right position for him...which was in front of me facing me while i covered his blanket over him. I thought he fell asleep but micah said his little face was always peeking out of the blanket. It was a fun trip ...Aiden loved it and actually drove part of the way. The next day we went to magleby mountain so all the boys could help out Dale to lay cement in the shed. So again we drove our4wheelers up and this time we got smart well actually Cory did. we Hooked up masons car seat to the four wheeler. It was perfect!!
He liked it just didn't like the wind all that much. On the way up Aiden was telling Dad all about which trees he liked.....he didn't like the brown ones...which were the dead onesl.
