Merry Christmas!!!!!

This was Aidens favorite toy the grabber.....it comes in handy when picking up garbage too.

This picture he was saying ya bayba....He got his cars.

helping Dad undo the screws

I love Aidens face in this picture....priceless!!

Every year I always say this is the funnest years for my boys, but seriously they were so much fun this year. They both were very excited. Mason wanted big huge Mcqueen and all the cars to replace all the ones he lost. Aiden wanted the Hot Wheels shark, and a Monster Truck remote control. Santa was very nice this year and got them what they wanted. When they came out they saw the toys santa left for them and the first thing Aiden said was look mom Santa put my dinoco mcqueen in Masons pile. Silly Santa must have forgotten that Aiden wanted one too. OOPS!!! Santa left his big red bag with wrapped presents in it. Aiden thought that was so cool that he left his bag at our house.
We went to my Aunts house which we do every year and exchange gifts. It was a long day but truly a memorable christmas. Mason wanted to sing his jingle bells to everyone. ( before pushing play turn off music at the bottom of the blog)

Christmas Eve

What a crazy day, doing your last minute shopping, last minute wrapping cleaning the house and it doesn't help that I slipped on black ice and hurt my tail bone...that hurts so bad I have sympathy for people with bad backs. You are limited to doing very little things. This year we had christmas eve at the magleby's we do it every other year christmas day and then christmas eve and this time we had it early ......1:00 and I'm retarded and thought that it was at 2:00 but that was my side of the family time on christmas day I got them mixed up. So we were way late. But luckily we didn't miss our favorite part of our special christmas program that Grandma pam and grandpa dale do every year. I love it and truly brings the meaning of christmas to the heart. This year Aiden instead of being the shepherd he was a cute donkey which he loved and Mason instead of a wisemen this year was a cute shepherd. I will have to get the pics from my brother-in-law cory. He took some good ones of my kids. We had a good time.
And then we went to Grandma kumps to have my family party and open up way to many presents that grandma gets .....seriously after grandma nancy's gifts we should tell santa claus to skip us. Finally we got the kids to bed about midnight they were too busy playing with cousins. Which is good because they slept in until about 8:00 am.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDEN!!!!!

I can't believe my little boy is 5. I remember so clearly the day we had him. Being in Labor all day while at work. Then coming home about six waiting for Micah to get home and wondering if I should go to the hospital yet the contractions were not quite four minutes apart yet. I'd rather be in my own bed in pain then in the hospital. Finally I couldn't bare it anymore so we finally went and then getting there and all the rooms were taken so they sent me to the closet which had a bed. Then finally getting the epideral after waiting for three hours because it was a busy night and I was like 8 on there list for an epideral and then the needle went up in the wrong place because the guy was so tired I don't think he was focusing so ya I screamed it hurt so bad. He finally got it right and all was well, went to sleep all night then they woke me up, broke my water and half an hour later my beautiful baby boy was born.

Okay I am not going to be so modest but he was so beautiful I could not keep my eyes off him. I could just stare at him for hours just looking at every beautiful feature he had. His skin, his eyes, his little flintstone feet like his daddy, His long eyelashes, his beautiful lips. He was my perfect christmas gift from above. He was supposed to be born on christmas day I'm glad he came early.

He is so full of imagination and very observant he notices everything. He has the best memory he can remember things from three years ago. I seriously have to think hard about what he his talking about then I finally remember. He loves to see how things work and loves to ask tons of questions. Most of the time I don't have the answer but I try. He loves to play with his friends and he makes friends so easy. He is a good big brother when he wants to be. Yes he can also be very stubborn just like his daddy. Not only looks like his dad but they are two peas in a pod. We call him mini micah.

He has been so excited to turn 5 and just could not wait. Today he woke up this morning and he came out of his bedroom just very confused and just stood there looking at his feet and his hands were out in front of him staring at those too. I said are you ok and he just looks at me and said "mom I still feel 4 I haven't grown anymore" it was the funniest thing. I think magically when he woke up he would be bigger. He is such a blessing in our home I could not see my life without my Aiden.

FAVORITES
He loves riding his mustang, riding his bike and he always wears a helmet he is known in our neighborhood as helmet boy he forgets to take it off when he goes to play.
He loves helping especially when it involves tools. He loves teasing his brother. He LOVES the color orange ever since he was 2. He loves icecream, pillsbury crescent rolls, starburst the orange ones, catching bugs and keeping them for days in a jar. He loves going to the park and HE LOVES PLAYING IN THE DIRT with his TRACTORS. He could name every tractor by the time he was three it was amazing. I guess it helps when his dad is in construction.
I LOVE YOU AID...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Of course like all thanksgivings on the crump side its usually pretty chaotic.
cooking the turkey, making the rolls, the jello salad blah blah blah....then helping my mom cook and decorate since she was hosting it this year you can say like everyone else's it was a busy morning and it didn't help that I have a Stupid head cold and It didn't help that to start off my morning I totally ran into a car ....oh I just didn't run into it I literally ran over the top of the poor little honda civic. I was backing up and couldn't see because I was in Micah's truck. The only thing it did to the truck was bent the exhaust. Yep Micah was pretty upset and of course gave me the lecture of looking behind before you back up. Thanks micah!

Overall it was a nice day. Aiden thought it was the coolest thing to see the inside of a turkey. And we had a wicked game of spoons. There are no rules when it comes to playing spoons in my family. We have had chairs broken, tables broken, biten hands, broken spoons, a heartattack --my grandpa had one when I was little ....you think that would end our tradition of spoons but it didn't. And Aiden and his little cousins had a good game of clue. Although I'm not sure who won but they had fun.

Busy Week

This has been such a busy and ultra long few weeks. First of all Micah had to go to wyoming for a total of six days three one week and three the next over night for work. Those were the longest days ever. Secondly somebody had a birthday.....HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICAH!!!!! I tried to do something fun but the plans were kind of ruined when he got home from work later than I thought so instead of going to a play we went to dinner with the kids and to madagascar which they loved.
We had a trip to the uncle Todd's dentist office yesterday and Aiden did so good with his x-rays but bad news, he has a cavity which is kind of funny because on the way home he's like dad I need to go in to the stores bathroom and brush my teeth right now. He's scared that he is going to get another cavity. So hes a little paranoid right now. Which is a good thing so he will remember to brush his teeth. Mason did pretty good for his first time, they got halfway through cleaning his teeth when he shut his mouth and wouldn't let them finish. I guess next time they will finish the other half.
Finally after along and exciting wait I saw "the" movie and I dragged Micah to it he was embarrased to admit that he had a ticket to the movie but he admited he liked it which I knew he would.

AND Mason is finally potty trained and when I say finally he has always been partially potty trained since this summer he would always pee but he was terrified of pooping in the toilet, but now he's got it down...such a big boy. I'm so glad...no more poopy diapers. WOOHOO!!!
although he has bad timing its usually when we are at tthe store and instead of an hour it turns into a 2 hour shopping because he has to go poo and he takes FOREVER!!!!but hey at least no more poopy diapers.WOOHOO!!!! oh I already said that but I will say it again WOOHOO!!!!!

A little late...

I finally got my pictures downloaded. Here is my bumblebee oh excuse me my "transformer" bumblebee. Everyone kept mistaking him for a power ranger or wwhen he said bumble bee they would say are you going to sting me. He would get so annoyed. It was funny. Here is my little Franky. Micah made the head.

Aidens favorite part of Halloween and always has been since he could say "happy halloween" is answering the door for our trick or treaters he thinks it is so much fun and it's nice so I don't have to get the door every two seconds.

This year after we got done treating which lasts about 30 minutes because Aiden wants to hurry home to answer the door he sat outside our door with the bucket of candy and waited for the trick or treaters it was the funniest thing ever.

My family

Last night we got invited for dinner at the Thornes. I have to say it was a humbling evening. There are some people who I hear that don't have the best relationships with there in-laws. I for one Love them with all my heart, I seriously could not live without them. There is so much love and peace when we are together I love being around them and hearing there
testimonies of our faith they all have such strong spirits. They truly inspire me to become a better person because of there examples. I truly admire my mother-in-law. First for raising 6 kids by the age of 31. I can't even imagine. She has so much to offer and is always willing to do anything for you. She is such a worry wart but thats what I love most about her because she cares so much about everyone around her. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be a picture fanatic with my kids. She got me into scrapping booking.
The same for my dear father-in-law who is the most talented dad I know. He can pretty much do anything and has done everything. It is so crazy even though Micah is adopted I have to say they are two peas in a pod.
Now that I am in tears. I just have to say I am truly blessed with a wonderful family on all sides.

Uh crap!

I probably shouldn't be using that word term but it fit perfectly in the day I had yesterday. To start off on the "crappy" day I had ..speaking of crap, yep thats what started my crazy day. Mason is learning to potty train but he will not poop in the toilet. Usually I catch him before he actually starts pooping in his underwear, but this time I didn't and unfortunately we were at target. I had to clean him in the sink of the restroom. Then we got home and I gave him a bath and sure enough five minutes later i look over and there are little poops and poop particles surrounding him. So gross!!!!!

I had to make dinner for a lady in my ward and of course I got a late start I didn't make it to the grocery store until after masons nap. We got to smiths and of course Mason was screaming the whole entire time because we left his mqueen cars and he has to hold them everywhere we go. Then when we were loading the car I could here this whistling sound and I looked down and there was like a five inch screw sticking out of my tire. Right then I just started to sob I sat there trying to pull the stupid screw out or in so I can drive it home but it wouldn't budge. There was no way I was driving it home sticking out like that because I already ruined the other back tire which still had our spare on...so ya I couldn't switch tires either. I went inside hoping to see someone to get me a ride home because I had to drop off dinner in 20 minutes. AHH! I spotted my cousin who would take me home and then I found my neighbor. whew! She kindly took me home. My car is still at smiths because of course micah was in wyoming and wasn't going to make it home until the next morning.

I am just so greatful that those kind of days don't happen everyday.

What did I do

I have been growing Aiden's hair out since March I saw this cute picture in the spring childrens place add. I fell in love. It has been a long and treadfull experience ....I hate the growing out process. It was starting to look like the picture and Micah the other day said I think it needs some trimming again ( he wasn't liking it) So we went to the same lady we have been going to and showing her again the same picture of the hair I love. Anyways she took my comment of my husband not liking the hair to a different level and totally chopped it before I could say "wait stop" after it was done, I was like eh I could live with it until it grows out, but that only lasted a day. I couldn't stand it ....is it me or am I totally paranoid. I treat my kids hair like my own. Anyways, his hair looked like a big mushroom ..i know i know thats so rude to say about your kids hair but seriously it did. The next day my dream of having his hair look like this .....
(The hair I was trying for)

went down the drain. (sigh) I went back and got his hair all the way cut so at least it had some style to it, but I still like the longer hair so maybe in another 8 months it will turn out the way I like it....thats just so far away. I should have never cut it. First of all it was so easy to do especially when he hates doing his hair or having any kind of hair gel on it. This new haircut requires gel.
Before the hair cut...it was almost there just needed a (little) trimming

After the trimming (the mushroom style)only lasted a day.

The final hair cut. This was his style that he had before we tried to grow it out. The high maintenance style I call it. Here goes many mornings of argueing to get his hair done.

Priceless

The time you spend teaching your kids whats right and whats wrong and teaching them stories from the scriptures....sometimes I wonder are they really listening.
Aiden has been wanting me to tell the story about Nephi over and over again. Then I said lets go to Moroni so I told him the story about Moroni. This was awhile ago and yesterday we are checking out at the store and he saw the temple and he said "look mom its the guy who burried the scriptures for us". That answered my question...Yes they do listen!

When I was telling him the story about Moroni hes like "so when he burried them and joseph found them how did we get them...did he take them to the store and then we just bought it from the store." He he! then he said "why did Joseph make the words so small" ( I have little scriptures) then I explained. It was so cute.

Scarecrow Festival

What a perfect day to be outside. We usually go to cornbellies thing at Thanksgiving point every year and we usually end up freezin our bums off. This year it was so nice and we decided to go the scarecrow festival instead of cornbellies which was way fun. The kids had a blast with there cousins and they couldn't get enough of the slides. I was so worn out at the end since I had to keep taking Mason down it he was to small to climb up by himself. Talk about some exercise. I was so glad when Micah finally met us after he got done with work so we could switch off. There favorite part were the rockets they got to make and got to blast them off. Aiden went in the Haunted House and he wasn't even scared he was so proud.

Mason with cousin Kyla
Aiden and his balloon fishing pole that grandma got him
Mason found his favorite thing....he loves to jump.
Mason with his fishing pole that grandma had made for him.
Our Fam at the scarecrow festival.
The biggest jumping balloon. Aiden is finally big enough to do the big one by himself.

He finally got the hang of it after a few falls and cries.

THe Pumpkin Patch

I think it's tradition now since we have been doing it for the last three years The weekend of conference we have been going to this pumpkin patch with the Hastleton's in south jordan they have it decorated so cute. The kids love it and Aiden went out into the patch and wanted to find the biggest pumpkin ever...well he found one and it was way to big to carry so he settled for ALMOST the biggest pumpkin ever. Of course Mason got his baby pumpkin that he has been wanting ...he is into baby stuff...He wants a baby car and he wanted to see a baby shark. He's funny. We couldn't get our haystacks this time since we didn't bring the truck maybe next year.

Our Trip

Aiden jumping the waves with dad

Aiden and Mason at the aquarium. This tank was huge.
cousin kyla and quincy and Aiden in the hot tub at the beach house.
We finally found goofy in disneyland.
Mason burying his feet in the sand.
We had to buy ponchos in disney. It was a great bib too.
Aiden found his first clam and then lost it and was very upset until he found some sand crabs to play with.
Making a huge sand hole to bury themselves.

On the submarine on the nemo ride. It was worth the wait in line. And Mason was happy that a shark didn't eat him.

We are back home now to ...wishing we were still there. The weather was so nice. The boys had fun although Mason kept saying he wanted to go home but then Aiden kept telling us he wanted to live there.

We stayed on the beach for most of the days but then went to an aquariam because Mason just wanted to see a shark ...i think its his favorite animal. He always talks about sharks and also that they are going to eat him. Like when we got off the nemo ride at disneyland the first thing he said the shark didn't eat me. He he.

The last day we were there we went to Disney again and finished up the rides we didn't go on yet. Aidens favorite ride was of course the rollercoaster I think it was called space mountain. He loved it. For Mason he just wanted to see Mickey.

Then we left for home and got home Saturday night lucky for us our kids slept pretty much the whole way back.

The sunset from the balcony of the beach house it was so beautiful.

And Aiden's highlight of the day at the aquariam..giving the diver a high five.

Finally made it

We finally headed to Disney it's been along awaiting my kids have been counting down the days for the last two months. I swear it was like Christmas. Micah and I did an all nighter drive...it's the only way we can drive with our kids so they can sleep the whole way. Micah and I can drive with peace and not have to stop I hate stopping. So Micah drove for 2 hours then I drove for 5 hours while he slept and then he drove for the last two hours while I slept it worked out nicely until about 3:00 the next day standing in line at disney land trying not to fall asleep. We couldn't check into the beach house until 2 on monday we didn't want to waste a day so we decided to go to disney land on Monday and then spend the other four days all at the beach house. We had a ton of fun at Disney land although Mason was so crabby the first few hours because he got up way too early and was ready for a nap right when we got there. And it was cold and rainy for the first few hours and of course it stopped right after I bought us some rain ponchos. I'm glad we are going back on friday because we only got through half of the rides. You would think Mondays wouldn't be too crowded well I was wrong. I would post pictures but for some odd reasons it's not working.

"I said a little trim"

What in the world so I get home from getting my hair cut I only went for a trim around the back so it would stop flipping out it was bugging me. But to my surprise I got home and she chopped the whole back of my hair she did a stack with like 4 different layers I was so mad and of course I cried which is normal for me when it comes to my hair. So I made another appointment at a different salon I didn't want to go back and make her feel bad and it's sad cuz I really liked that girl she has been doing my hair for the last year. I went to a new salon and they fixed it for me thank goodness. The lady was like are you kidding me I can't believe they did this to your hair...yes it was that bad!!! It is way shorter than I ever want it to be but it looks a ton better than the first hair cut.

so short ....(eek!!)

stupid infomercials

Okay so my husband is the only one that knows my weakness when it comes to infomercials. I am so bad I am one of those that gets sucked in. "yep a sucker!" For example proactive ...got it! right when it first came out...uhm the bouncy work out ball...got it, the ab roller...got it! uhm what else the list can go on...i'm getting better at not watching them ...but i don't know i just saw the one for anti aging I was so tempted but ignored it But then the beach body advertisement came on and since we are headed to the beach house next week in california I thought I better start working out again I bought it a month ago and actually have been religiously doing it for the past 3 weeks... I am so bummed I haven't seen a change ....LIARS!!!! oh in just 3 weeks and only 10 min a day get the body you want...WHATEVER! !!!! and i've been doing it for 30 minutes a day. I'm still sticking to it since it's kind of fun so maybe in 6 months I might see a change who knows by then I will probably be prego again and it wont matter. I do see a little difference in my arms but thats it. maybe i should just stick to walking my dog for exercise.

It's never to early

Just like I did with Aiden I am teaching Mason to cook. Yep thats right he's 2 and knows how to cook scramby eggs. They are seriously the best egg crackers ever. I think only once I found some shells but thats it. They both do the same trick in cracking the egg. They crack it against the table until the bottom of the egg is barely cracked then they take a piece of the shell at the bottom and tear it off to make a hole and then shake the egg up and down over the bowl until the yolk falls out. Pretty genuis heh! Give it to Aiden to learn the trick at age 2 and pass it on to Mase. Here is Mase this morning making me some eggs. I know pretty daring letting him be that close to a hot stove but he knows its hot and does a very careful job at stirring. The only problem is that he doesn't want to stop at just one egg he wants "two uvem" They were making german pancakes on saturday they turned out so yummy.
