Magleby Mountain

This was the tank uncle Todd brought up to plant 2000 more fish in our lake.

Yeah ! are first camping trip of the year it has been long awaiting. It was a lot of fun. We didn't get there until midnight on the 24th but I'm glad we got there that night instead of the next day. The next morning was absolutely beautiful and then the rest of the weekend it rained. We went fishing and four wheeling which my kids just loved. Aiden caught his first fish. We cooked it for dinner tonight ...i don't like fish but Micah did an amazing job cooking it. It seriously looked like a professional chef made it.

We didn't do much up there but that's ok with me it was just so relaxing. My boys enjoyed playing with all of there cousins. Well at least Aiden did. Someday Mason will get off the mommy string and let go. He is such a mommy and daddy's boy he won't go to anyone.

Aiden rode his cousin walkers dirt bike and shot his first 22. He did pretty good.

Mason got to chase the moo cows on the four wheeler which was his highlight of the whole camping trip. They loved being on the fishing boat and casting there fishing poles. I wish I was still up there the weekend went way too fast.

Mason no more money!!!!!!!

So are 24th we ended up at primary children's all day. Mason decided to swallow a penny today...it was the most scary thing ever....I was packing for our camping trip and Mason was just laying on his back singing songs and the next thing I knew he was gagging I hurried and picked him up and pounded his back but he just kept gagging and spitting up. I hurried to the phone to call 911 and he was breathing so I decided to just call the emergency if I should bring him in or not. I was so panicked ...i do not do very well under pressure like this I just panic!! I think I was scarying mason to death. I knew he swallowed something and then he said money. So i showed him some money and he pointed to the penny. He kept saying it hurts I knew it was stuck somewhere which frightened the beegees out of me. I kept thinking the penny was going to turn and then caught off his airway. My mom rushed over and took me and the kids to the ER. Unfortunately Micah had to go to Wyoming so he wasn't home until the afternoon. We got to Jordan Valley and we were there 2 and half hours before they told us that it was in his asaphagus and that they couldn 't do anything about it so they told us to go to primarys where they would take it out. So ya we had to start everything all over again at primarys and this whole time they told us not to give him anything.....the poor little guy kept saying he wanted water he was so thirsty. Anyways after 6 hours later they finally took it out which took less than 3 minutes. They put a tube down him with a balloon at the end and pulled the penny up. It was easier than they were describing it. When they were telling me I seriously just freaked out and told them I could'nt do it that someone else had to come in with him. I finally calmed down took a deep breathe and was able to be in there with him. It was done within a blink of an eye. He did so good. He wimpered a little bit but that was it....He was good the whole entire day. All he did was sleep he was so stressed and tired. Finally we got home and still after all that drama we still packed and headed up to Magleby mountain for the weekend.

Continued from last post

So ya the Mamma Mia not a big hit with Micah...I thought it was okay. He was laughing not at the movie but the older ladies laughing at the jokes. Ya he's rude. Anyways he just kept saying you are lucky we got in to see Dark Knight too. Surprisingly to us they opened up another time slot for Dark Knight and we were the first ones to pick seats. Talk about a movie night Mamma Mia got out at 11:29 and Dark Knight started at 11:30. Perfect timing. I have to admit from all the feed back of people watching Dark Knight I seriously had butterflies in my stomache ....what is wrong with me...I'm getting scared of every scary movie now before I even see it. Man I'm such a wuse. Needless to say it was way good, not as Dark as people kept saying it was. By the time it was over my head hurt though from being so intense. It kept you on the end of your seat at least for me it did. I think Micah gets annoyed with me I kept asking questions through the whole movie.

So HOT!!!

It was ridiculously hot today. I want the nice weather back with a little bit of overcast. I needed to get out of the house today so me and the boys took the trax up to Gateway for lunch and to play in the splash area. We haven't played there since we moved from North Salt Lake. If it wasnt for the help of nice people helping me onto the train with my stroller and my boys I would have missed the train everytime. I swear Bill Allred from X96 helped me one time I was nervous to ask if it was really him. Anyways it was the longest trip ever....everytime it stopped Mason would jump out of his seat and yell DONE. He did it for at least the first 8 stops and then realized we weren't stopping for awhile. Hehe. We met Dad up there for lunch since he was in Salt Lake ...what a coincident. It was a fun and long day. I think the kids enjoyed it....something different at least. Then Mason slept from the time we left until 8:00 pm I think its going to be a late night. I should have woken him up sooner. Oh well Grandma is watching them tonight while we sneak out to a movie....Micah really wants to see Dark Knight but i couldnt' find tickets so I am surprising him with Mama mia....HAHAHA!!! I heard it was good so hopefully it won't be too disappointing for him.

A day at the Farm

We had to take advantage of this nice day we had today ..not too hot just perfect with a little bit of rain. So we went to Thanksgiving point to see the animals...Although Mason was disappointed when there were no "eleefents" he got over it when he
saw the "nays" (horses) and he found a baby billy goat. They were so good too they didn't fight or anything it was just a nice peaceful day. It was a day I would call "perfect"
I didn't know that you could either ride the wagon or the pony rides. Thank goodness some little boy gave Aiden his ticket so he could ride the pony ride too...and Mason just wanted broder to go on the ponies. He just kept saying "broder botch"....which means brother watch. He was content just watching Aiden ride the pony he was too scared. It was cute! Then it poured and rained its a good thing we were done. OH and on the wagon ride Aiden had to bring his ipod seriously you wouldn't think he was only 4 . He just sat there listening like a teenager would do.

Then of course we had to stop at the Thanksgiving point Deli and get some treats...oh Cheesecake, lemon bars ...soooo yummy!!!!

What do I do

It was the annual grandkids sleepover party. Of course Aiden fought us again about sleeping over usually he gives in and sleeps over and then has so much fun we can't get him to come home. This time Micah tried for over an hour to make him stay but it just didn't work Micah asked why he didn't want to sleep over and Aiden said I will tell you in the truck Dad. They got to the truck and Micah asked again and Aiden said Dad I didn 't want to sleep over because I am way to tired and just want to go to bed the asked if he could put the seat back in the truck to lay down and he was out in 2 minutes. How cute is that! He knows that you don't get to bed until late because all his cousins just play and he was just ready for bed. So the next morning he woke up and said mom lets go. He was ready to go over and to eat breakfast and do there grandkids project and play games. So I dropped him off. After I dropped him off Mason took a nap for like 4 hours. Seriously I didn't know what to do with myself that was the first time I just sat there on the couch and in complete silence. The house was clean, laundry was done I didn't have to referree any kids outside. That was one quiet day I wont forget because I'm sure it won't have one again for a long time.

OH and I'm so excited I found my camera yesterday, YIPPEE!!! I will have to post some cute pics of our 4th of july.

oh my goodness

As I sit here paying some bills today. I notice that my kids are being really quiet in the play room. I look down the hall and saw Aiden cleaning up the play room. I almost started to cry. I think this is the first time that he has ever cleaned without me asking him to do so. It's so cute I can see his little feet walking back and forth from room to room putting things away. Mason just came to me..clean? I said are you guys cleaning up and responded with a uhha! And now Mason just turned on his play vaccuum.

Another cute story...
So last sunday Aiden came in from outside and said mom, mom I stopped the rain and I'm like huh? He replied, ya I stopped the rain I blessed it. Oh you prayed for it to stop and he said, ya I said a prayer twice and it stopped, now we can go for a bike ride. So Aiden and I went for a bike ride it was thundering and I was a little scared it was going to down pour but he was very confident and kept telling me Mom it's NOT going to rain I told Heavenly Father to stop the rain. He was right it never rained. But then it got way to hot and I ended up putting him and his little bike on my bike and pushing them up the hill all the way home I about died, so HOT!

It could only happen to me

There are only a few people who really know the true me.....meaning how accident prone I am. Although since I have been married the percentage of freak accidents or shall I say embarrasements have gone down a ton. My childhood friends were over the other night and reminded me of all the things that I have done or happened to me...that I completely forgot about. I can't believe they remembered. For example I was hiking one time and slipped and fell on a big water pipe -which I think it was and landed horsey stile on the pipe - yep that left a bruise. There are so many more but anyway yesterday I was driving Micah's truck and the windows were down and I was turning around in a neighborhood cirle and all of a sudden I heard a popping sound and before I knew it I was drenched from head to toe and I was in a TRUCK! I ran over a 5 gallon plastic can full of water and used fireworks. It was like an explosion - water and empty tubes of fireworks went through the window of the truck. Oh and the smell was horrid. I was so soaked and I stunk so bad. Hopefully it was early enough in the day that noone saw me or at least I hope noone saw me.

So tired....

This was a cute picture the kids were so exhausted from all the activities this week and yesterday they played outside all day long that they both just fell asleep in Daddy's arms. That never happens they always just want there beds before they go to sleep.
and yes that is mason with his hand in his diaper. It's like his security blanket when going to sleep hopefully he grows out of it soon.

Busy weekend

This last weekend we had a few things going on I swear we don't do anything on the weekend and then when something comes up there are like five other things on the same day. For example it was the herriman days carnival and fireworks that night and then we got invited to go to a ball at the capital which I thought it would be kind of fun to get dressed and actually go out to dinner except the dancing. Anyways plans changed and we had family stay with us over the weekend so we didn't make it to the ball but we did make it to the herriman parade and carnival in the scorching heat. Micah's brother jared and his wife steph stayed with us they are from richfield I wish they would just move down here because they are fun to do stuff with. My boys were in heaven they love playing with cousin Kyra and Tori. Although Mason wasn't too excited for them when they came he hung on me all weekend and would cry if they sat by him while he was eating so he had to go eat in my room with the door shut. He's so funny! but that was the only way I could get him to eat without crying.

The parade was fun and again we got overloaded with candy and it was gone in seconds. The kids had fun on all the rides that they could go on. Aiden wasn't quite big enough for all the rides. And of all the rides I thought mason would like he didn't dare get on the pony. I just couldn't wait to get home to the AC. The kids couldn't wait to get into there swimming pool.
