Honestly....

Really why do I bother.....I spent all day deep cleaning my house scrubbing floors and walls I need to do it more often but I think why? so in a few seconds Mason will spill all of his lunch, breakfast or dinner on the kitchen floor ( he spills everything) and then drip his sippy cup through the house, or Harley ( dog) will take a sippy cup off the kids table and chew the lid right off so it spills all over the carpet or get into the garbage can and drag it all through the house when we are not home. Or boys not concentrating on aiming....so gross!!!!! Yes this it what happened right after I spent hours cleaning. Ugh!! But then I think again...it feels so nice to have a spotless house for just a moment ...yes only moments I say, because thats how long my house stays spotless after cleaning up. I figure thats my job....but sometimes i dream that I can be like samantha on bewitch and with a twitch of my nose...walla the house is clean. Oh how nice would that be but I will just continue dreaming.

Yeah Aiden!!!

He finally did it...he finally learned how to ride his bike without training wheels. He has been riding his cousins pink princess bike for awhile since i ran over his thomas bike and broke the training wheels off it. The pink bike had training wheels that were off set. So he knew when the little wheels weren't touching that he was balancing. I told him to keep practicing and soon he will be able to ride his thomas bike without training wheels. He wanted to learn because our adult neighbors were making fun of him for riding a girls bike....I did take off the princess stickers so it didn't look so girly. The other night we told him lets go try and easy as pie he did it on the first try. He hasn't been off it since he learned how. (where's Aiden.?..let me guess riding his bike) he loves it.
First try....nice job!!!!!
Micah demonstrating.....ha ha!!!!
...............still on his bike.

Showing me that he is all geared up just in case he falls he said.

Mason wanting to try just like brother. A few more years mase!

Little Golfers

Nice position, but other way mason..

Aiden has been wanting to go golfing for sometime now. There is a golf course by his school and usually once a week he will remind me that we need to go. So we finally did but we did mom's version which is miniature golf. I think he wanted to go golfing just to drive the carts. To his disappointment there were no golf carts. It was fun, although it started to down pour good thing we were almost done. I think that was my kids favorite part was being able to play in the rain. I think Mason and Aiden did better than i did...it seriously takes me more than three times to get that ball into that little hole.
How did i know he was going to aim it right for that puddle.

The Holy Ghost talking

Today we got back to our house from the park and our power is out. Ugh! I heard Aiden in the back room saying something about his heart and then i heard him saying something about the Holy Ghost. I asked him what did you say....he said his heart is blinking and that the Holy Ghost is telling him to get out of the house now. Then I said really, and he said YES very dramatic. So i said Okay lets get out of here then. Nothing happened. I thought I would act on it so he knows that when the Holy Ghost is telling him something he should do it. I just had this lesson in relief society last week. He must have had the same lesson in primary. It was touching that at age 4 he knows that the Holy Ghost does talk to you and you should listen to his promptings. My little boy is growing up so much.

Mustang Tribute

I had to do a mustang post. Since Micah's number one love in his life are mustangs besides his family and yes he has gotten Aiden loving them just as much as he does. Aiden can spot a mustang from anywhere and it doesn't matter what model it is he knows it's a mustang. So when he turned three for christmas we got him a powerwheel mustang. I have to say it is the best thing we have invested. He has had it for a year and a half and we have had to replace the tires three times already. He says when he grows up he is going to have an orange mustang since orange is his favorite color. Then he wants a mustang monster truck to drive to work ( there is no such thing as one...but we won't burst his bubble yet) He is a natural at driving it's in his gene since micah loves to drive. He quickly learned how to do 180's down the steep hill of our neighbors driveway. Micah wants to put him in gocart racing when he turns five. I think he will love it too.

Happy Anniversary

We celebrated our Anniversary last night. I can't believe it has been 7 years. It was actually last tuesday the 19th. We went to the Marriot at thanksgiving point. It was really nice. We didn't get there until late but really we just wanted to get away to have a day to sleep in without kids waking us up. We sure did we didn't get up until 10:00 it was so nice and they had breakfast which was really good too. Then we went to massage envy for a couples massage....i think i was in heaven it was so relaxing. I know i shouldn 't share family secrets but this is so hilarious.....so actually the massage was for last night but micah made me cancel (I can't say why because Micah read my post and made me delete it but it's so hilarious.) Lets just say it involved a John and Co. He he.

Masons birthday party

We celebrated Mason's birthday today with the fam. I didn't do a one year party so i decided to do one this year. It was such a crazy day today I wish Micah didn't have to work. From taking Aiden to soccer , but first running to get team treats. Then going to the grocery store, then getting the boys hair cut and then going to the bank. Coming home and starting the birthday cake....oh then i forgot about Aiden's t-ball pictures so I had to run real quick and go do them. Coming home and giving me an hour to make the cake bath the kids, go get pizza for the party and fill up all the water balloons and pack everything up to go to the park for the party....Where is micah.grrrr!!! I got it all done and the party turned out nice. We had it at the park by our house. It was a lot of fun. It was such a nice day Aiden wanted to do water balloons and squirt guns for all the cousins. And oh boy everyone got so soaked including Grandpa Dale it was so hilarious I have never seen him run before and he was running from every grandkid trying to soak him. They all got each other good. Mason loved it.

He's two

I can't believe Mason is two already. Oh my goodness. He has grown so much in the last 5 months. I remember at 18 months i thought is he ever going to talk and now he won 't shut up. He says full sentences now. He is so stinkin cute and he amazes me at some of the things he says. Although he gets most of it from his big brother. His new saying is "whats up guys" and sometimes he says " whats up dude" he says that to every little kid he sees at the park or store. He got a new choo choo track and him and Aiden were up until 11:00 playing with the train set. Thats what he wanted for his birthday is "choo choo tracks" he kept telling me and a "nay" (horse) he loves horses. When we are outside he says "bye momma see nays" there are horses a few houses down and he wants to walk over there every day to see them...maybe one day we will have to go horse back riding. For right now he just likes to see them. He chickens out when it comes to petting them. When we are driving he spots every horse, bobcat and big trucks there are and gets so excited. It's so cute.
His favorite things to do .....ride his bike, play with brother and daddy, go to grandma's house. Sit on his dog harley. Play tractors in the dirt and go to the park.
His favorite toy.... has to be his baby mickey doll, and what ever big brother is playing with. He likes thomas the tank, mqueen, mickey and bobcats and horses.
His favorite foods...He loves to eat icecream, otto pops and pizza, and chips and everything has to have some kind of dip. I know I know so healthy!
His favorite saying...."whats up dude" " thankyou ? he always says a name after thankyou either broder, daddy etc...."lets hide" "more popsicle" " big hug" "lets play" "come on"
Favorite songs....He loves to sing Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, patty cake, the wheels on the bus, spider man them song, itsy bitsy spider, twinkle twinkle and the ABC's.
He loves to over exagerate his owies. It's so funny and wants you to kiss everything better.

Mother's Day

Aiden and Mason helping Dad make dinner for Mother's Day.
This is Micah's homemade Strawberry Heaven cake Sooo good.

This was the best Mother's Day ever.....it's the first time I didn't have to cook a meal. My brother made half the dinner and Micah made the other half....yep Micah actually made something and it was sooooo good. He made this spinach fruit salad and a strawberry heaven cake Oh my goodness it was so good. Him and the boys surprised me with a cricut. I had no idea he was goin to get one. He's like you have only been hinting for one for the last two years. He he...I only asked him to do the laundry for me for one day but the cricut was a much better present.

The miracle of rice!

I have had my phone dropped in water about a dozen of times i think it had 12 lives. But this last drop in about did it. I couldn't get it to work and then someone told micah to put it in a bag of rice (it sucks out all the water apparently). It worked. So when my camera got dropped in water i decided to do the same thing. Surprise Surprise it worked. I cried for joy. I can't live without my camera.

Sunday, May 4, 2008

Oh Crud!!!

So I finally found my camera....and I started to cry. I found it in the bottom of the washing machine. I swear I checked my jacket pocket for my camera but apparently I didn't. This is the fourth camera i have had in the last 5 years. It was the nicest one too. I am so sad I don't know what I'm going to do without my camera every day. sigh! I just hope it is fixable but i doubt it.

Day with grandma nance

Today Grandma had kyla and quincy so we decided to go to Discovery Gateway. They had so much fun....i think i lost my camera i can't find it anywhere....UGH!! I haven't been there for awhile and they have lots of new stuff to do upstairs. We were there for so long. I couldn't get them to leave. There favorite part is still the water zone and the construction zone. By the end of the day my mom was so done. Its so funny she can't really handle four kids all day. I just laugh she's like i don't know how you have the patience because i don't. He he. I just thought to myself it's because you are getting older grandmas aren't supposed to have patience with four little kids all day long. The next day she slept all day long. Ha ha. Days like this i wish my dad was still around to see all the grandkids he has. I could picture him now playing with them at the lego part at the museum building the biggest lego statue. Oh dad how we miss you and how Aiden talks about grandpa kerry everytime he sees a big semi....he always says "thats what grandpa Kerry drove".

Things that i remember about my dad....

- always reading or watching some kind of western or scary movie on tv
- always thinking he is the most old fashion person there is...but really he wasn't i think all kids think there parents are old fashion.
- buying me the most updated cell phone.
- looking at cars and buying one even though my mom had no idea and she always got mad when he did it. he he.
- Home town buffet ---yuck! but it was his favorite place to go out to eat when we did go out.
- ordering take out at the chinese place in Riverton and ordering beef and pea pods.
- sending me to go get him a banana shake, chicken cordon blue at the river queen.
- his yummy dinners, he made up his own recipes I would ask him for the recipe and he'd say a little of this a little of that.....why didn't i write them down. Dang! I miss his chicken enchilada recipe.
- just giving me money with out my mom knowing when i was a poor college student.
- lecturing me about always driving on E ( empty gas)
- my close friends teasing him and vice versa and new friends being scared of him because he always looked so grumpy but really was just a big tender heart.
- Always giving when we had nothing to give, yep my mom got mad at him a few times for that
- Motorcycles. He loved driving his harley motorcycle until he wrecked it.
- Fishing...he always took me fishing for the day....i remember always complaining that I was too hot or bored and wanted to go home.
- Going on road trips with him ( he drove truck) it was fun especially when we went to washington D.C that was my last trip with him until i thought i was too old to go with him.
- Always asking me how to spell something( it was so annoying)
- He always bought new clothes for him and then not ever wearing them. His closet was full of new clothes with tags on them.
- Thinking I was done with my Christmas shopping until Christmas eve when he said "lets go". We spent all day at the crazy mall shopping for my mom when i already told him i finished her for the both of us...but it was never enough for him he had to get her more. ..so cute and expensive!!!!
- Paying me a dollar to make his bed he knew it had to be made before mom got home.
- Showing me how to vaccuum so you wouldn't see foot steps and only seeing vaccuum lines.
- Always having a trucking dog. I think he went through 2 shebas, 5 shorty's and 3 ikes before he finally kept one that didn't get stolen, ran over or sick. His name was Ike too, his best friend, oh were they a pair. I don't know why he named all his dogs the same name...probably because he knew how to spell those names and pronounce them.
- Always giving me a hug...when i thought that was so childish ---yep me being a stupid teenager, I wish i could get one of those hugs now.
- He always would say I hope i die before ike which he did and ike died a couple years later. Probably from a broken heart he missed my dad.

I can't believe it will be five years in just a few weeks. How the time goes by and I still miss him just as much. I wish my boys new him they would have had so much fun with him. I am so thankful for the plan of salvation and the knowledge of the gospel knowing that we will see him again.

Aiden's thought of the day

He always has these crazy questions and I'm always like uh....I don't know maybe we should ask dad. But anyway on the way home from preschool out of the blue he said "mom how does santa gets the stuff off the roof" stunned by the question I was like what stuff? He said the toys how does he get them off the roof. I said he puts them down the chimney. Then hes like well howd he get my mustang ( his powerwheel car that he got two christmas ago) off the roof. It's so funny the things he thinks of and the things he remembers from so long ago. For example when we went to the polar express he's like hey this is the way to Thomas ....he remembered that from two years ago going to A day out with Thomas.

Trip to the ZOO

Surprise surprise they found the water.

Finally a bit of nice weather except for the crappy wind. We decided to enjoy it and go to the zoo. Mason's favorites ...the monkeys butt. The ones that look like they have a big bubble gum bum. He kept saying more more bum. Ha ha. After we saw the monkeys every other animal he wanted to see there bums. Oh it made me laugh. Aidens favorites.....he said he liked it all. I think he liked the train ride the best. We didn't have time to play in the kid play area or else that probably would have been his fav.
Waiting to get on the train.

Bowling

We have been bored all day this stupid weather why can't it be warm already. Ugh! When micah got home we decided to go bowling. It is so embarassing to say that i was ever on a bowling league. I am so crappy at least i broke a 100. Aiden got his first spare all by himself. He didn't even use the bumpers, After that he thought he was all pro. He was giving Dad instructions on how to bowl. Mason thought it was fun to roll the ball at first he thought it was a soccer ball kicking it down the aisle. He learned how to give high fives after a strike.
After Aiden bowled Aiden did a spin dance on the floor it was hilarious soon after Mason joined him...Mason was more interested in the nachos. But soon got the hang of bowling. "more more" he would say after each turn. Aiden loved his bowling shoes he cried when he had to return them. He said " see you shouldn't have given me these because i wouldn't have had a fit to keep them" man how old is he 12. my goodness.

what a helper

I was putting mason down for a nap today and i thought aiden was in his room but nope. the last couple of days he has just been leaving the house without telling me. The next thing i knew he came strolling in the house and said brendan wasnt home im like ya he's at school and why did you leave without telling me. Apparently he was bored then he looked out the window, ran outside and got his shovel and said I'm going go help sammy's mom in the yard. He saw from like seven houses down that sammy and his mom were doing yard work. He wanted to help his mom. He loves helping in the yard i hope he still likes it when he gets older.

OH NO!!!

Oh my crap! so i let my boys go out back to play with there tractors and seriously i left them out there for two minutes alone just to find my shoes and go out. What a surprise I saw ....two little boys that are in deep trouble, they were covered in mud from head to toe well mostly Mason since Aiden helped cover mud on him. They were such a mess. I can't believe they found the smallest little water puddle and stirred in dirt. To make walla mud! THE JOYS OF BOYS!!!! bathing them five times a day. Man did they have fun.

guess what today is?

So this morning Aiden jumps out of bed which he never does and runs to me and says " mom mom guess what today is" uh school day. Hes like no SOCCER DAY!!! he remembered from a few days ago that he starts his soccer practise today. I couldn't believe he remembered I have never seen him so excited before other than getting a new toy tractor. We went to practise oh my gosh so freakin cold, but he didn't care he got his orange soccer ball and started joining in with the others. It was a clinic so there were some real players there showing the kids some tricks. It made me laugh to see him trying to bump it with his head. Of course mason kept stealing everyones soccer balls. I hope everyone found there missing soccer balls because i just left them i didn't know where he took them from. He loved it as much as Aiden and he was pretty good at it he kicked the ball just like the others. My only concern is when Aiden starts his game how in the heck am i going to get mason to stay off the field..EEK!

EEK! I finally cut my hair

Oh boy, after years of saying i want to cut my hair i finally did it. It brings back memories before i was married i had the same hair cut. It feels so much better it was in need of a major cut. I kept telling micah what if i cut my hair and the usual micah response is ok. Not the one i was hoping for. For example " ya that would be cute, or no i like your hair." ugh! so i did it and he said was "do you like it". WOW! i took it as a why'd you do that. Oh well too late now. But the next morning Aiden says, "mom i really like your hair" That did it for me. It was so cute the way he said it.

911 call oops!

Okay so the other day. I called micah on his cell phone and for some weird reason it called 911 at the same time but yet it went to micahs cell. So i didn't know i even called 911. his first numbers are 915. anyways it did this last summer like 4 times and they would call back and confirm that i could speak at my own free will and blah blah!!! but this time apparently they called back but i was in the shower so i didn't get it the next thing i knew was police man were trying to get into my house. I hurried and threw my dumb dog in the bedroom he was the one scaring them from entering the house and ran and got dressed and when i looked they were entering the back door. I was like hi. They said uhm we got a 911 call are you okay and i confirmed ya. They asked if aiden was playing on the phone and told them what probably happened. Then they went on to lecture me about leaving all my doors open. but then i thought well you werent able to get in because of my dog. But ya it was really embarassing
