Finally made it

We finally headed to Disney it's been along awaiting my kids have been counting down the days for the last two months. I swear it was like Christmas. Micah and I did an all nighter drive...it's the only way we can drive with our kids so they can sleep the whole way. Micah and I can drive with peace and not have to stop I hate stopping. So Micah drove for 2 hours then I drove for 5 hours while he slept and then he drove for the last two hours while I slept it worked out nicely until about 3:00 the next day standing in line at disney land trying not to fall asleep. We couldn't check into the beach house until 2 on monday we didn't want to waste a day so we decided to go to disney land on Monday and then spend the other four days all at the beach house. We had a ton of fun at Disney land although Mason was so crabby the first few hours because he got up way too early and was ready for a nap right when we got there. And it was cold and rainy for the first few hours and of course it stopped right after I bought us some rain ponchos. I'm glad we are going back on friday because we only got through half of the rides. You would think Mondays wouldn't be too crowded well I was wrong. I would post pictures but for some odd reasons it's not working.

"I said a little trim"

What in the world so I get home from getting my hair cut I only went for a trim around the back so it would stop flipping out it was bugging me. But to my surprise I got home and she chopped the whole back of my hair she did a stack with like 4 different layers I was so mad and of course I cried which is normal for me when it comes to my hair. So I made another appointment at a different salon I didn't want to go back and make her feel bad and it's sad cuz I really liked that girl she has been doing my hair for the last year. I went to a new salon and they fixed it for me thank goodness. The lady was like are you kidding me I can't believe they did this to your hair...yes it was that bad!!! It is way shorter than I ever want it to be but it looks a ton better than the first hair cut.

so short ....(eek!!)

stupid infomercials

Okay so my husband is the only one that knows my weakness when it comes to infomercials. I am so bad I am one of those that gets sucked in. "yep a sucker!" For example proactive ...got it! right when it first came out...uhm the bouncy work out ball...got it, the ab roller...got it! uhm what else the list can go on...i'm getting better at not watching them ...but i don't know i just saw the one for anti aging I was so tempted but ignored it But then the beach body advertisement came on and since we are headed to the beach house next week in california I thought I better start working out again I bought it a month ago and actually have been religiously doing it for the past 3 weeks... I am so bummed I haven't seen a change ....LIARS!!!! oh in just 3 weeks and only 10 min a day get the body you want...WHATEVER! !!!! and i've been doing it for 30 minutes a day. I'm still sticking to it since it's kind of fun so maybe in 6 months I might see a change who knows by then I will probably be prego again and it wont matter. I do see a little difference in my arms but thats it. maybe i should just stick to walking my dog for exercise.

It's never to early

Just like I did with Aiden I am teaching Mason to cook. Yep thats right he's 2 and knows how to cook scramby eggs. They are seriously the best egg crackers ever. I think only once I found some shells but thats it. They both do the same trick in cracking the egg. They crack it against the table until the bottom of the egg is barely cracked then they take a piece of the shell at the bottom and tear it off to make a hole and then shake the egg up and down over the bowl until the yolk falls out. Pretty genuis heh! Give it to Aiden to learn the trick at age 2 and pass it on to Mase. Here is Mase this morning making me some eggs. I know pretty daring letting him be that close to a hot stove but he knows its hot and does a very careful job at stirring. The only problem is that he doesn't want to stop at just one egg he wants "two uvem" They were making german pancakes on saturday they turned out so yummy.

Utah State fair

Last night we went to go see Veggie Tales at the fair it was cute although after every song Mason would say Done! Everytime I would say nope not yet so we didn't get to see all of it Mason was too impatient to see the animals.

They had this "little hands on farm" it was so cute they had little stations of how the farm works they got to plant veggies, milk cows, drive little tractors, go to the farmers market and then they gave you pretend money to get a treat at the store.
We saw the usuall farm animals and rode the ponies but the only thing missing was Micah it was too bad he couldn't get home any sooner from work to meet us there.

Front Runner

It's been awhile since I have posted anything...this last saturday we finally went on the front runner ...the fast train that goes from saltlake to ogden. The moment Aiden saw it he has been begging to go on it. So we did, it takes off everyhour on saturday so we hurried it's hard to hurry with four little kids to get ready. We had my nephew and niece again. We missed it by one minute cause we couldn't find parking. That was pretty crappy the disappointment on there little faces could kill you, but we only wait a little bit longer until another train came. The train was way nice not as fast as I thought it would be because of course it had four stops before reaching to Ogden. (I know whats there to do in Ogden) they redone alot of downtown Ogden and micah wanted to see it anyways. Once we got there it was a few blocks to the mall. Little did we know after running all the way back to the train so we wouldn't miss our way home that there was a trolley that would have brought us back. Ugh!

The kids had fun we found a childrens museum this was Mason trying to play chess Then we ate pizza at fat cats and lost a few kids but luckily we found them seriously my brothers kids are such wonderers it was driving me nuts.... I think I lost them about half a dozen times. You would think they would stay by you since they are 4 and 6. While we were there we found some cool places one called IFLY the other Flowriders. The Flowriders was an indoor water surfing place it was so cool they had two sections of people surfing they had a machine that made huge waves in the water and then the other place was an indoor skydiving there was a dome section that you went into and it was like you were skydiving there was a trainer in there with you holding you and floating you up. One of these days I want to try it.

I have to say that was about the longest day I have ever had. We finally got back at 9:00 and the kids were so out.
